Putting together the evidence: comparing data from the ESTC and Eighteenth Century Collections Online

Eighteenth Century Collections Online is a closed access website which is often available through libraries. With over 33 million pages of searchable text, it allows you to read more than 180,000 titles from the eighteenth century in their original layout, by downloading, printing, or browsing them online. Dr Adam Budd explains how comparing information from different websites can help you to build your studies into a rounded understanding of a particular historical person, publication, or subject.
