Advancing your research: using the ODNB and the English Short Title Catalogue

The English Short Title Catalogue is a British Library open access resource which brings together information from library catalogues across the world, allowing you to search for the titles, authors, and booksellers of nearly every publication printed in the British Isles from the arrival of printing in the 1400s up to 1800.

Dr Adam Budd guides you through the ESTC to demonstrate how much information it can give you, from details of when and where a book was published to biographical details about authors and publishers.
